HEAT-SET

A quick-drying type of ink that dries by evaporation of its solvent in a high temperature drying oven followed by cooling to set of ink. Heat set ink are used in letterpress and  offset lithography typically in web offset process and have an advantage to quick drying which reduced the risk if excessive ink spread and absorption.

APPLICATIONS:

The new resolution generation of heat set ink is particularly suitable for exceedingly High-Gloss print job on coated and absorbent and less glossy stocks.
